I have been playing with film. Yes its true, I love the way film looks I always have, and no I don't think I can get the same look sitting at my computer in photoshop. I am not after a look entirely, more of a method to creating something worth looking at for more than a second. I prefer shooting, sending in the film, waiting for the uploaded email. It feels very fulfilling.
So for my jump back into film, yes I am embarrassed I left, I chose a Mamiya 645 Pro. The camera is big and heavy but the results are worth it. Im not sure it is a street photography camera although I recently took it to San Francisco with me for a wedding. I had it tucked under my arm and did manage to capture a few moments. I Will post my results when the film comes back from the lab.

The day I was there the chef was incredibly busy. They had a couple of large parties coming and catering on top of it all. So he set up something on the side of the cutting station and gave me abou 30 seconds to shoot.
Hello friends....Yes its unfortunately true...I have been busy with many projects! Here in the Northeast winter should be a calm inwardly focused time of year but for me it has been busy. I had a few shoots with Toscana Restaurant to get the style they wanted and then began creating a clean fresh web layout. Stay tuned for more local restaurants coming soon.
